Our Mission

Hauntly was created with a simple goal: make ghost hunting accessible to everyone. Whether you're a seasoned paranormal enthusiast or picking up your first EMF meter, Hauntly gives you the tools to detect, capture, and document the unexplained, all from your smartphone.

We believe the best ghost hunts happen when you have the right equipment. Hauntly combines a full toolkit into a single, intuitive app so you can focus on what matters: the hunt.

What We Built

Hauntly isn't just another novelty app. We've built a genuine ghost hunting toolkit that uses your phone's hardware sensors:

  • Spirit Box: Ask questions out loud and listen for voice responses through the static. Speech recognition hears your questions, and every session is logged word by word.
  • EVP Recorder & Analyzer: Record electronic voice phenomena over 11 ambient sound beds, then dig into recordings with a spectrogram, frequency spectrum, 3-band EQ, audio filters, reverse playback, A-B loops, and markers.
  • EMF Meter: Live electromagnetic field readings from your phone's magnetometer with X/Y/Z axis data, µT/mG units, baseline calibration, and spike detection. Every EMF feature is free.
  • Paranormal Camera: Photos and video with night vision, live SLS overlay, motion-detection auto-recording, and paranormal effects.
  • Photo & Video Analysis: Orb detection, edge detection, SLS body-outline scanning, enhancement filters, frame-by-frame stepping, and A-B loops for reviewing your captured media.
  • Ghost Hunt Journal: Every ghost hunt is automatically organised into a searchable timeline with notes, timestamps, sensor readings, and captured media, plus full backup and export.

Privacy First

We take your privacy seriously. Your ghost hunt content, from recordings and photos to notes and sensor readings, stays on your device. We never upload it to our servers, there are no ads, and no account is required. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

Free & Pro

Hauntly is free to download and use, with no ads. All core ghost hunting tools are available at no cost. For those who want to go deeper, Hauntly Pro unlocks extended EVP recording (up to 30 minutes), all 11 ambient sound beds, the full EVP Analyzer suite, orb/edge/SLS detection for photos and video, motion detection, unlimited Spirit Box sessions, and full backup & export.
